Nice to see this diagram updated. I've heard that Friendica has dropped DFRN, so that might be worth checking.

I wish there were a way to expand the list of microblogging platforms without making it look like they dominate the Fediverse (even though they do dominate the Fediverse...). And then we have the commercial ActivityPub-capable platforms -- should they be included or not? I dunno.

Their changelog does say this:

Version 2021.09 (2021-09-25)
Removed the legacy DFRN transport layer, DFRN is now always using the Diaspora* transport layer [annando]

If I am understanding that correctly, they now use Diaspora protocol.

I think this particular diagram is meant to show the different types of apps and give examples, and not to list all of the available apps. Perhaps a different diagram would be useful showing other apps.

For commercial applications, I am not sure how they would be included in this diagram. Some of them are like Hubzilla or Streams, where they use a different method of communicating internally, but use ActivityPub for the rest of the fediverse.
